Ayurveda Talks: Sandhiya Ramaswamy
Sandhiya Ramaswamy brings a deep passion and spirited nature to her work, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her practice of Ayurveda that also includes certifications in Yoga (RYT 200), Thai massage, and culinary arts. Her insight and expertise have been featured on Deepak Chopra’s widely followed Chopra Center articles, local California publications, and on popular podcasts and radio shows. She is a regular speaker at mind-body wellness conferences, and events.
In this interview, Sandhiya talks about how she fell into Ayurveda because of a pneumonia episode and a lifelong struggle with asthma. She has now been teaching Ayurveda at for 9 years, with a specialty in Ayurvedic cooking. She loves teaching people how to eat for health and wellness, explaining that true reverence for nature’s edible abundance leads to divine taste and divine meals.
