Introduction To Ayurveda Cooking
The Medicine In Your Kitchen
IAC
I invite you in to my kitchen where we begin with the principles, sample the six tastes and the science of creating balanced meals, move on to set up the Ayurvedic kitchen, learn about spices and cook up the meals that constitute the essence of Ayurvedic nutrition, including sides and snacks, tonics and teas, and finally demonstrate a few make-at-home healing remedies to help restore greater imbalances.
Ayurveda teaches that, When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When diet is correct, medicine is of no need. This course lays the groundwork for a personally tailored diet that is healthy, wholesome, and joyfully homemade.
The number one most important thing you can do to improve your health is to cook your own meals at home.
