During Yoga Nidra, you move from externalized awareness and the active state associated with the sympathetic nervous system, and slip into inner awareness which is associated with the parasympathetic nervous system. Body and mind recalibrate, harmonize, and integrate as you experience into a true state of peace.
This ancient practice has been shown in modern medicine to have lasting positive effects.
